PASMA OPERATOR TRAINING 

Based in Snodland near Rochester and Maidstone in Kent 
PG Platforms is an approved PASMA Operator Training Centre. Our PASMA operator training course is aimed at training individuals to safely and correctly use mobile access towers in their work and to work at height safely.  
 
As an employer, it is required to provide the necessary information and training to ensure safe working conditions and to ensure that all employees are competent in their at-height access work.

SUITABILITY 

This course is suitable for individuals who use mobile access towers both at home or work. It is suitable for those with no prior experience with towers, as well as those who have used towers but have never received formal training. It is also suitable for participants whose previous qualification has expired and who will need to complete the full course again. 

WHAT'S COVERED 

Participants in the course will learn how to assemble, dismantle, and modify access towers, as well as inspect them for potential hazards. The training also covers the most up-to-date legislation and guidelines related to the safe use of this equipment. 

COURSE AIMS 

The PASMA training course aims to equip personnel with the necessary competence to perform inspections, establish safe work systems, and understand employees' responsibilities. This training provides delegates with the essential skills and knowledge to operate mobile access towers safely. 

ACCREDITATION 

Upon completion of the PASMA course, participants are listed in the PASMA database and receive a certification and ID card valid for 5 years. The course includes both theoretical and practical exams.

How to safely assemble, dismantle, alter and move mobile access towers 
How to safely use mobile access towers incl. accident awareness/prevention 
How to inspect mobile access towers and the PASMA inspection tag 
Tower components 
How to identify hazards relating to their use 
What legislation, regulations and guidance are applicable to these towers 
PASMA Erection Procedures and the 3T method
